Before lighting, place the candles on a stable and heat-resistant surface. Trim the wooden wick to 6mm (1/4 inch) before each lighting. We recommend burning for no more than four hours at a time and removing the aventurine nuggets from the candle before burning or at the beginning of burning, when the wax is just starting to melt. Keep the stones for yourself, for good luck. The candle burn time is approximately 65 hours.

Burning and extinguishing the candle

• before each burning, trim the wooden wick to 6mm
• allow the wax to completely melt during burning – all the way to the edges of the container. This even melting of the wax will prevent "tunneling"
• when extinguishing the candle, remember not to blow out the flame. The flame should be extinguished using the lid included with the candle by cutting off the air supply
• do not place the candle in a place where there are drafts, ventilation, or flammable materials
• do not move or touch the candle when it is burning
• make sure the candle is on a heat-resistant surface
• never leave a burning candle unattended, keep out of reach of children and pets
